Not just how you sound—but how you connect, create, and lead with it.
In this post, I’m breaking down how to use your voice through three intentional phases: creation, connection, and conversion. Whether you’re on YouTube, Instagram, or hosting a podcast—these voice-first strategies will help your content feel more you (and make a greater impact).
1. Create from Authenticity
One of the biggest blocks creators face is not knowing what to say. But more often, it’s not about having nothing to say—it’s about believing we have to sound a certain way. That perfection kills creativity.
Try this instead:
Voice Memo Drafts: Record your thoughts like you're telling a friend. Transcribe and edit from there.
Voice Anchors: Choose 3 words that represent how you want your voice to feel. For me: warm, clear, grounded.
2. Connect Across Cultures and Platforms
Your voice bridges more than ideas—it connects people across languages, identities, and platforms.
Adapt your tone without losing your essence:
Instagram = Punchy & visual
YouTube = Story-driven & expressive
Podcast = Slow & reflective
If you’re multilingual or code-switch often—bring that into your work. It’s not a limitation—it’s your edge.
3. Convert with Purpose
Content that converts starts with clarity, not pressure. Your voice guides your audience through the journey.
Here’s how:
Top of Funnel (Awareness): “If this resonates, follow for more creative tips.”
Middle of Funnel (Engagement): “DM me your biggest challenge—I’ll share what’s helped me.”
Bottom of Funnel (Conversion): “Book your 1:1 session to align your content with your voice.”
Voice builds relationships, not just reach.
Final Thought: Create Like You Shoot Film
Working with a film camera reminded me of this truth: slow down. You don’t need to share every moment. Pause. Reflect. And when you speak—make it count.
Just like the silent moment during the Death Star explosion in Star Wars—sometimes the quietest moment says the most.
